初级咨询师

I offer a warm, compassionate, and curious presence to help clients deepen their understanding of themselves, their relationships, and how to navigate life’s challenges. I offer a non-judgmental space for clients to explore what is and isn’t working in their lives and examine how their choices reflect their personal values. I feel everyone has an indelible connection to their innate goodness, clarity, and wisdom and that sometimes we can lose sight of this connection when facing difficult times and circumstances.  My role as a counselor is to guide others in discovering the clarity and wisdom within their pain and confusion.

Life & relationships are often painful and confusing, especially when experiencing overwhelming emotions, events, or transitions. Whether current or past, it is never too late to take a step toward healing. You do not need to suffer alone. Connecting through therapy is one way to find your way back to health and the experience of wholeness.

I am especially interested in mindfulness, somatic awareness, humanistic and transpersonal psychology. My desire is to create a collaborative, supportive and relational experience during our sessions. I hold equity, social justice, inclusivity, and decolonizing as the framework for healing.

I am currently in my post-graduate training in contemplative psychotherapy and Gottman couple therapy (level 1).

I provide therapy in Cantonese and English.

我的故事

My learning in my undergraduate at Naropa University, a birthplace of modern mindfulness movement in the United States, taught me to appreciate and discover human’s “basic sanity,” which means we all have within us a sense of natural goodness, dignity and wisdom. I also worked in Waldorf kindergarten when I was in Hong Kong, where I gained insight into working with children through a more holistic and spiritual lens and nurture.

My experience as an international student made me especially aware of the difficulties and challenges immigrant and international students experience. I am here to support you in finding different ways to approach painful or difficult situations in your life.

治疗取向

With the desire to tailor therapy to the unique needs of each client, my therapeutic approach draws from an eclectic blend of therapeutic techniques, including client-centered, strength-based, mindfulness, cognitive-behavioral, and somatic approaches.
