Utilizing a client-centered, culturally inclusive, and strengths-based approach, I want to assist clients in constructing and navigating a path towards healing that honors their individual needs and goals.
I'm passionate about providing a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space for clients to freely address their concerns. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and interactive. I work from a belief that my role is not to “fix” clients but to help facilitate positive changes in their lives through informed choices and awareness. An analogy I like to use when approaching therapy is that we are both navigating a dark cave. As the client you are leading the way and as a therapist, I am helping you navigate the dark path by shining light and bringing clarity along your journey.
I received a Master's degree in social work from Columbia University’s School of Social Work.
I offer English and Mandarin services, and I offer weekday and weekend sessions, both online and in-person.

我的故事
As a first-generation American, I can understand how culture, family-dynamics, intergenerational differences, and other societal systems can impact the stress one may be experiencing. Growing up in a family that experienced the challenges and trauma of displacement from the Cambodian genocide, I have developed a profound understanding of the complex interplay between culture, identity, and mental health. My personal experiences have fueled my commitment to helping individuals navigate the impact of trauma, acculturation, and resilience. Considering the complex identities each individual holds, I hope to support clients in finding a path to wellbeing that draws upon their strengths and empowers them to grow into the happiest, healthiest, and most resilient version of themselves.
治疗取向
My treatment approach is client-centered, strength-based, and trauma-informed, and I also integrate modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure therapy, psychoanalysis, mindfulness, and couples/family therapy.
